Born and bred in Stellenbosch Dr. Muller was a Paul Roos Gymnasium scholar who, after matriculating, headed to Stellenbosch University to obtain his Bachelors in Dentistry & Dental Surgery degree in 1989.
After graduating, he began his career as a dentist in the South African National Defence Force. Dr. Muller expanded his knowledge and experience base by gaining international experience as a dental practitioner and in the field of anaesthesiology in Reading, United Kingdom. After returning to South Africa he established a dental practice in Durbanville and since 2005 joined Stellenbosch Dental Studio as a partner.

Dr. Muller has a conservative approach on dental care where the prime needs of each patient is paramount. Dr. Muller is committed to treat each and every patient honestly and fairly and what he is not qualified to do, his patients will receive the best specialist recommendation.Ethics and aesthetics is at the heart of the practice’s approach and Dr. Muller aims to see smiles all around. He is known for his warm and caring approach and ability to make everyone, from young to old, feel welcome, relaxed and completely at ease in his dentist chair.

Outside the Practice
Dr. Muller is a fifth generation Stellenbosch citizen. He is married to Sulinda, a Stellenbosch clothes shop owner and together they have three boys Bethel, James and Richard. He is an avid sports fan with his favourite being mountain biking, and has several Cape Epic titles under his belt.

Dr. Lisa van Niekerk is a caring and empathetic dentist with a strong focus on clear communication and patient comfort. She is an all-round practitioner with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, always striving to deliver high-quality dental care.

Although born and raised in Bellville, she completed her year of community service in Limpopo, where she embraced the challenges of rural practice, describing the experience as both rewarding and enriching.

Dr. van Niekerk’s compassionate nature extends beyond dentistry as she is an avid animal lover. Artistic by nature, she also enjoys arts and crafts, which complement her aesthetic approach to dentistry and attention to detail.
She is known for her gentle manner and calm personality, helping patients feel at ease from the first encounter.

Aneen Brits is a registered Oral Hygienist practicing in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. She is currently associated with Stellenbosch Dental Studio.
She is an experienced oral health professional with over two decades in the field. She is known for her focus on preventive dental care and patient education, helping patients maintain optimal oral hygiene to prevent gum disease and tooth decay. Colleagues and patient resources often highlight her "gentle touch," emphasizing her ability to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed during procedures that some might otherwise find stressful.

Everyone knows and appreciates Corné’s beautiful welcoming smile. She enjoys the constant interaction with our patients and putting the most nervous patient at ease. Corné is an integral part of the team here at Stellenbosch Dental Studio for 11 years and in charge of all our patient appointments, accounts, and answering any questions you may have. She takes great pride in ensuring that each and everyone visiting the practice receives the personal attention they deserve, whatever their needs may be.

I've been a dental assistant for Dr. Muller for six years and have a total of ten years of experience in the field. I also hold a Diploma in Medical Coding and Billing and a Certificate in Introduction to Office and Administrative Management.
Being a dental assistant means much more than just assisting, I love the variety of each day, the different patients, and the unique cases. It provides many rewarding moments, especially when I help someone regain their smile. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family.
